Hello everyone,
My name is Jan and I’m a student in Applied Informatics. I’m in my last year of the study-programme and I will do my internship at the University of the Basque Country. That is the reason I created this blog: so you can follow me trough-out this exceptional experience.
I’ll leave Hasselt at 27 March and I’ll return close to 26 June. I leave with my parents by car, I don’t know how I’m going to return yet.
I’ve been assigned a project where I have the opportunity to work with “xsens systems”, which is used in virtual realilty to measure human movements (motion capture). As said, I’ll be working on this project at the University.
I have found a place to stay these 3 months: the “El Pilar” residence. You can visit the website http://www.residenciaelpilar.es/english/. There are some pictures of the rooms and the neighbourhood.

As I’m a Belgian student, it seems strange for making this blog in English. However, my thesis needs to be written in English as well, so I consider this a good practise. If you notice mistakes, please tell me!
