Ola!
Hi everyone,
again, yes, it’s been too long. After my last post, there was at the college university of engineering something they call “Intensive Programme”, or IP, which lasted 2 weeks. There were a lot of IT-students from different countries present, taking courses in network security. Also 6 students from XIOS. It was nice talking to them and spending some time with them.

It's been a while
Yes I know, it has been quite a while since my last blog-entry. The reason is quite simple: I’ve been quite busy the last 2 weeks.
This week, my girlfriend came over to Vitoria for a week. Cool huh? We visited the city, went to the party of “San Prudencio”, did some shopping, and all the good stuff! It was really great, too bad it is allready over! Now it will last until the end...

Vitoria & Bilbao

I figured it was time for a new update! Yesterday, the weather was superb, so I figured it was best to go out for a walk. Easter weekend
Hello everybody!
In Spain the Easter weekend starts at Thursday. And after Easter, schools are closed for one week, so I have a week and a half off. Quite relax indeed.
On Thursday the weather was very nice and I took a walk from my room all the way to the basketball statium of “Ceramica Tau”. When I arrived there, I found a natural park next to it, so I walked there for a while....

Bodegas
Yesterday we visited a Bodegas in the Rioja. We were invited by the university.
We visited Ysios, which has a spectacular design. Bodegas stands for wine-cellar, but at Ysios it is a “fake” cellar. It is a building above the ground, and inside, they fake the circumstances of a wine-cellar.
We had a good guide, who explained the entire process to us. And afterwards, we could taste one...
The residence
Last night was the first night at the residence where I’m going to stay for the next 3 months. Everything went allright. As from now, I can use the internet whenever I am at my residence. Therefore, I can try to make more posts on this blog, and I will be more available on Live Messenger and Skype.

First days
Here I am again!
The first days here in the Basque Country have been really great. Burgos was a nice city, the Cathedral is very nice to visit, too. The weather however, is strange. In Burgos, it was very cold. Best way to describe it would be: like a winterday next to the beach in Ostend. There was some snow too!

The trip
Hello again, Well, I arrived in Vitoria. The trip wasn’t so bad: a few minor traffic jams in Paris and just over the French-Spanish border, in San Sebastian.
For the moment, I’m staying with my parents in an appartement in a small town a few kilometers north of Vitoria, Amárita. It’s a nice place, I would recommend it to everyone.

Last hours in Belgium
I’m counting down the last hours I spend in Belgium. Of course it’s very hard. Having to say goodbye to everyone I know for 3 months isn’t easy. I’m happy that my girlfriend is coming to stay an entire week. As of this moment, I’m packing the last things. I hope that I’ve got everything with me. Ah well, we’ll see!
